MARCATUS — The Open Marketplace for Real World Assets (RWA)

Our Vision:
MARCATUS is building the world’s most open, transparent, and intelligent marketplace for tokenized Real World Assets (RWAs) — allowing verified assets from any blockchain to be listed, discovered, and traded peer-to-peer without friction.

What We’ve Solved and Built So Far

1. Cross-Chain RWA Discovery Engine (Crawler):
We’ve developed a custom crawler that continuously scans public blockchains (e.g., Polygon, Ethereum) to automatically detect and list RWA tokens that meet our standards. This means MARCATUS stays updated in real time with new assets — without waiting for manual listings.

2. Smart Contract Indexing and Asset Validation:
Each RWA is verified based on metadata, documentation, and token standards (e.g., ERC-721), ensuring trust and transparency. We display legal documents, images, and data tied to each asset — directly from the blockchain.

3. Owner Control and Consent-Driven Listing:
While we can show assets publicly, full integration into trading or negotiation flows requires asset owner consent. Owners are notified when their asset appears on MARCATUS and can then customize settings: enable/disable trade offers, receive push notifications, or mark assets as “not for exchange.”

4. Intelligent Exchange Matching System:
Our matching engine automatically proposes potential token-for-token swaps or purchases based on user preferences and historical activity — but only when mutual interest is shown. No spam, no pressure.

5. Full Marketplace Autonomy:
MARCATUS is not an intermediary. We do not custody tokens, verify asset value, or guarantee trades. We are a neutral protocol and platform — a toolset for users to engage directly and securely via on-chain contracts.

6. Mobile-First, Real-Time UX:
With our upcoming mobile app (React Native / PWA), users get:

Next Steps on the Roadmap

Global RWA Market Context
Leading forecasts (e.g. from BlackRock, BCG, Citi) project $10–20 trillion in tokenized RWAs by 2030.
This includes real estate, equities, bonds, collectibles, commodities, and more.
Most of this value will be institutional-grade and locked in private chains or specialized custodial environments (e.g. JPMorgan Onyx, Franklin Templeton).
